Today I was invited to sing at the AGVA Welfare and Trust Fund Home.  It is a retirement home that houses only former performers, stage hands, producers, and other people with former professions of and in the arts.  It was a joy to see so much love on their faces and so much music on their lips - literally and figuratively: the entire front row sang "I'll Be Seeing You" with me!  

It was just a reminder to me that music speaks to everyone, at every age, at every juncture, in every emotion and in every season.  As Thanksgiving is upon us, I am thankful for the gift of music and the reminder of how it can change our lives wherever we may be.  Happy Thanksgiving and many blessings to you!!
